Bye bye feathers

Another moult?  It must be judging by all the feathers floating around.

Phineas is affected this time.  Overnight he has lost feathers around his cere & forehead & quite frankly looks like he has been in a fight.  If it were not for the fact that he had been locked up all night & was looking perfectly pretty prior to being locked up then I would have assumed he had been in a scrap.

Sometimes they just shake themselves & a shower of feathers & fluff fall to the floor.  Thank heavens for the dust-buster is all I can say….
